Brymo is deemed by many pundit as one of few artistic musicians in this part of the world, with creative mindset that reflect in both his song lyrics and video rendering.
Called out by Nigerians fans for being dirty and vulgar in his chosen title for his fifth studio album, “Klitoris” released couple of years back, the former budding act of Chocolate City Records returns with another musical content that struck further identification of his racy mind.
Prior to his album “Oṣó” release late last month, precisely on 27th of March, the creative RnB sensational got the internet buzzing as he went near n*ked in the video for “Heya!” – the track number three (3) on the eleven (11) track LP.
His choice of costume takes us back to the African origin as many would suggest in boiled up discourse on social media as a result of the video.
Much as we Nigerians find it irrational, especially those who are not a fan of Bobrisky and co, the visuals still breath an atom of creativity on the side of the singer.
Speaking to Sunday Scoop recently, the singer defended his choice of costume saying:
“The song is an expression of my environment. I like to paint as much as I can and I think that most of us are bush people, even though we live in cities. The video portrayed a bushman living in the city. If you look around, you wouldn’t see much evidence of civilisation. We did not create most of the things that we use in this country and that’s not good. We need to think.”
