Ariana Grande, American amazing singer and actress born Ariana Grande-Butera, makes her return to the music scene after a year long self-imposed hiatus with her uptempo song titled “No Tears Left To Cry”.
The song which earned magic touch from three talented music producers – Savan Kotecha, Ilya, and Max Martin – arrived alongside a mind-bending crisp video – shot and directed by ace cinematographer, Dave Meyers and co-director Alfredo Flores – which find the Boca Raton hailed songstress defy gravity.
The musical content is her first official song and video since the terrorist attack during her sold out concert in the city of Manchester, United Kingdom, on 22 May 2017.
The song offers an imperative jolt of strobe-lit resilience at this moment of sociopolitical landscape fraught with tension, fear and disenfranchisement. The song recall what she has gone through after the incident – staying away from the things she love doing for so long – and now, ready to pick herself up and let the vibe rule since she “got no tears left to cry”.
“Ain’t got no tears in my body / I ran out, but boy, I like it, I like it, I like it / Don’t matter how, what, when, who tries it / We’re out here vibin’, we vibin’, we vibin’ / Comin’ out, even when it’s rainin’ down / Can’t stop now, can’t stop, so shut your mouth”.
No Tears left To Cry Is available for download and streaming worldwide on prominent online music stores and streaming platforms – including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, Google Play and Tidal.
