The star of the moment, Spaceship Entertainment head and Afro-fusion king, Burna Boy was the guest artist at renowned American television show – “The Daily Show,” currently hosted by our African product, South African comedian Trevor Noah.
The afropop overlord had so much to talk about as Trevor file in the needed questions. He chatted about his recipe for Afrofusion music, landing a Coachella gig and putting together his album “African Giant.”
In the interview Burna told a story about the first time he met Noah, watching the man get mobbed while getting off of a boat in South Africa five years ago.
When Noah asked him to describe his music, Burna Boy came up with an extended analogy about a pizza. He also told the story about his album title – an outgrowth of the moment where Noah saw his name halfway down this year’s Coachella poster and got pissed off on Twitter.
